Known as the Vampire of Montparnasse, François Bertrand was one of the first known cases of having sex with a corpse that was deemed the term Necrophilia. His necrophilic impulses began as a boy and he eventually went on to exhume and have sex with a series of bodies around Paris, France in 1849.
In 1979 Karen Greenlee was an apprentice embalmer in Sacramento, CA when she stole a hearse and had sex with the body of a 33-year-old man that had died the week before. In a written confession, Greenlee confessed to having sex with 20 - 40 other corpses.
